Begins with large downhill, then is up and down mostly up. Downhill slopes are pretty steep for eastern Virginia. This trail is not completely finished.

Summary:
Fun little trail, very new, just starting to develop lines. Should be completed by summer 2001. Trail is officially closed, but talk to Jerry, he is looking for people to help break this trail in. It is only closed due to the missing bridge at the beginning. Nothing technical, but good workout, nice change from Waller Mill. Some roots and small hills, ground is still soft due to lack of riders.

Recommended Route:
Same as above, only 1/2 mile to Barnes Rd. Check in at Center, Trail is officially closed!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Marl Ravine, Waller Mill, Don't ride Harwood Mill!!

Summary:
This will be a nice addition to the Penninsula once it's completed. Uses the land nicely. Use caution over the first downhill, as of 1/25, there is no bridge crossing the creek. It is a nice cardio workout and the trail will be great once it develops a flow. My seat mount broke halfway through the ride and I had to ride the second half standing in clipless pedals. I am rating it 3 stars untill it's finished!

Recommended Route:
You definately need to check into the Center's office before riding. Staff is great!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Waller Mill (Dogwood Trail), Marl Ravine

Summary:
Still not finished as of 12/07/00. Use caution - Bottom of 1st downhill bridge not built yet. Other than that sweet singletrack. When it abruptly ends, get back on the fireroad, hang a right and take that back where you parked. Then go hit York. 3 stars - shows alot of promise.

Recommended Route:
Same as above. When you exit 64W bear to the right. Less than a mile till the left on Barnes. Turn right at the medium size brick sign Wburg Christian Center. Follow the road till it ends @ a building. Park here. Turn around & bike down the hill you just drove up. At the bottom of the hill on the left side you'll see a small sign. The trail is there.
