Sweeny Trail

Mostly tight singletrack with a large open area with many different logging roads connecting in the middle. Most of the trail is medium difficulty with a few hard obsticles thrown in for good measure.

Summary:
As said in the previous review this trail no longer exists. I visited the site of this trail. Strip mining is complete at this site, and it is now a parking lot for the Buchanan County fairgrounds.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Breaks Interstate Park

Summary:
This trail has it all, tight winding singletrack that you can only dream about... open area on top of the mountain to chill out and relax on, or setup jumps with the logs and flat rock. The views are great, although a Strip Mine has started destroying one side of the mountain. Any bad thing to say would be some of the sections are getting overgrown with weeds, definitly time for some trail work. Bring a helmet and some eye protection because low hanging branches are the norm. RIDE HARD, RIDE FAST, HAVE FUN!!!

Recommended Route:
The trail is pretty straight foward, not too many options for alternate routes. Stay off the now deceased North Shore style obsticles as they are starting to rot!!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Breaks Interstate Park has some nice singletrack and the locals are planning to connect them with the Sweeny, that would be some incredible riding!!
