Andrew Leitch Park

Trail is a mix of footpaths, doubletrack, powerlines and four-wheeler tacks. Good hills but not very technical. There are three stream crossings that are fun. All in all about 5 miles of trail for intermediates.

Summary:
Hit the trail today and found it empty no ATV's and the mud was hard to find. If you have stronge legs you can get the work out at the second river crossing . plenty of hills and speed is up there. If you like to tool around and hit small jumps stay on the powert line trail. One path has several trees down I plan on fixing soon. over all a good day on the trail.

Recommended Route:
go over second bridge behind base ball field. turn right. Take any fork and cut through you want . Hard core cross the river at first chance you will see the fun at the top of the hill. bring a power bar.

Disclaimer: I am a recent transplant from Northern California, so my trail standards are pretty high. This trail is not very good by California standards, but 1) it's there and 2) it's close, so I'll ride it! Watch out for the mud.

Summary:
Plenty of streams and creeks for those who like them. Watch out for kids on ATV's. Be careful after the rain. I got stuck in a foot of mud in some doubletrack ruts today. There are plenty of alternate paths everywhere. I suggest exploring a bit first before tearing through everything, it's easy to get turned around. When it's not wet, these trails are fun for a short afternoon ride, nothing too technical, but if you look for it, you can find a few good jumps.

Recommended Route:
Andrew Leitch Park - far end of the baseball diamonds, there are a few trail heads, I normally enter just to the right of the corner of the wooded area and head right at the doubletrack trail.
