The trailhead has an outhouse, a pump, and a message board. Check with the US Forest Service for camping info.
The Bennett Creek Trail connects to the Maah Daah Hey at a point about 16 miles north of Magpie Road (Devils Pass) and 22 miles south of the CCC Campground. It is the quickest way to get to the China Wall on the Maah Daah Hey. The trail is marked by the 4x4 wooden post markers with the Bennett Creek Goat Head symbol on them. The top of the post slants down on the side that the trail is located.
The trail starts in the trees next to Bennett Creek and is beautifully draped along the hills and ravines, with nice doses of scrubland thrown in. Scenery is abundant, and the trail is fairly well marked. Length is short, but a necessary way to get to the Maah Daah Hey.
