Weekend Warrior Summary: Pretty nice trail. Still a bit rough, but getting much better. I've been taking guys there for their first ride's. Recommended Route: Follow trail markers. For a warm up/ cool down, you can ride the paved path. Park in the front of the park, ride the path to the back of the park, and pick up the trail. Then ride back to the front for a cool down. Other recommended trails in the same area: Rum village, Lawless

Cross Country Rider Summary: It took a while for Potato Creek to get into the idea of adding a mountain bike trail, but this trail was worth the wait! I have been hiking at the park since I was able to walk, so it has been great seeing the park from a different point of view. The trail offers a nice variety of terrain and scenery, from open, grassy meadows to dense woods. It also shows a bit of the past when the land was privately owned farm land, rather than a state park. Some crumbling foundations and old car parts are reminders of days gone by.
PROS: Great trail to learn on-nothing too big, tight, or technical. Variety of scenery. Flows well. Well marked.
CONS: A few rough areas due to the newness of the trail.
OVERALL: This is a fun ride, whether you are learning to ride, or whether you are an experienced rider looking for some fast miles. While there isn't anything too steep or demanding, the trail as a whole can be used for a great cardio workout(hence the aerobic rating). Recommended Route: Follow the bike arrows and remember there hiking arrows going the opposite way, so keep an eye out for hikers. Other recommended trails in the same area: Rum Village, Bluhm County Park, Imagination Glen
