Mostly s-trak, through junipers, some exposed places in parts, there are trails linking up all over this mountain... Roll your own. Trails from beginner to advanced are up there. Some climbing if you want to ride the upper trails. Go up the red hil to the upper trails, take a lefet on the road for the west lower trail, go to the north on the road, it turns into another lower trial to the north.
You can leave from town.. Head out by the Rec Center and look for the water tank below the red hill.. This is a good place to start, as trails go several directions from here.
Summary: I grew up on these trails mostly riding moto-x. I'm 38 now and I have a hole new respect for these trails on a MTB. I try to get back yearly to ride these and the many other trails in the area. You can Freeride, XC, DH what ever your game. I'm in Houston now and there are some alright trails with in 2-5 hours but nothing like the RS area trails. There are some great upper level trails at WM one even has a rock spring running across it, that's right the spring comes right out of the rock! It's not easy to find, usually during spring its running. Ride Hard and Fast, Live Long.
Recommended Route: The trailer court is probably the easiest if you don't have a 4x4. One ride I went to the top and DH to the bottom while my girlfriend followed in the truck. That was a ride!!!
Other recommended trails in the same area: There are some great trails up from the city maintainance buildings access from the ball park. Or the north side of I-80.

Summary: Once you are ready to ride you can follow the trail right behind the rec center or go the other (east). My favorite is to ride up the road towards the mountain. It's a steady climb that will test your lungs but once you are at the top you can go any direction. Going to the right will take you over some "Moab" rocks. Continue straight on the trail which includes some small climbs but most is downhill. Some technical spots to watch but for the most part it is a blast to ride. You can spend 1/2 an hour to 3-4 hours riding the different trails that criss cross this area.
Recommended Route: Start at the Rec center. You can park along side the road without being in the roadway.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Flaming Gorge area.

Summary: Foothill bowlayard left on quadrant right and then left to the trailor parks.. hit anything from there
Recommended Route: Go straight from the trailor parks nearest the mountain, hit the first class 10 hill then jump the dried out streambed. Climb the first damn edge you see cutting straight up then cut left right when it evens at the canyon with the slate. Follow that 3 miles or so to the rec, cut down that bitch and hold on.
Other recommended trails in the same area: PINNACLE buttes.. if you're tough

Summary: White mountain is where I learned to mountain bike, I haver ridden all over it and even over it to green river a few times, there are allot of wild horses up top to watch for, the stalions get pretty protective, got chased out of a valley once... :) The hill is covered with trails, and back in the day we really didn't name them, we just rode...
Recommended Route: out past the library up to the base of the mountain, or up past the shooting club and then to the base of the mountain, then climb the fireroad that leads all the way to the top near the top there are some posts to keep cars from going off the road, somewhere there is a trail that goes off down the hill between the posts, this is a great downhill ride called pipeline, with lots of waterbars the size of speed bumps that make great launch ramps, and towards the bottom is what we called the Ladder, it was just this really nasty rutted section that all the four wheel drive trucks would try to climb up when it was muddy so it would always be really nasty!! a great steep shoot to end off all that great downhill, then you can take a trail right off from there that twists and winds it's way back to town that had allot of water errosion that you have to jump over.. it's a blast
Other recommended trails in the same area: What I miss about Wyoming is that you didn't go to a "trail" you just wen't four wheeling till you found some singletrack that you had never been on and started riding.....that was some epic mountain biking..someday I have to go back and ride in Wyo...
