Weekend Warrior Summary: This is one of the funnest trails I've ever ridden and it is in a beautiful area of huge granite rocks pile high. It can be pretty technical but nothing you can't handle or at least walk through though as one reviewer said watch out for hikers. I rode it three times and on the thrid one when I knew what to expect it was a blast. Bed careful you don't brush up against these rocks. I am used to granite being smooth but these are like razor blades, left with some excellent rock rash. Only problem is how short it is, but you can ride up to the campground and add more to it. Check my gallery for some photos of this and Happy Jack. Also, beware of the strong winds on I-70 as you get close to this trail, signs warn you. It cracked my roof rack and I almost lost my bike! Wind not a factor on trail, just highway. Other recommended trails in the same area: Happy Jack

Cross Country Rider Summary: first off this trail is not in cheyenne. it is 15 miles from laramie and 30 miles from cheyenne. just down the road from happy jack. great casual loop for anyone. trail is crushed rock and can get a little loose in the turns. there are quite a few rocky sections that require some skill to get thru. good warm up for happy jack. Recommended Route: exit vedauwoo and follow signs to campground/day use area. clockwise. Other recommended trails in the same area: happy jack

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is the best 3-star trail you'll ever ride. The scenery is top-notch and the sinbletrack perfect. The reason it only gets three stars is its short length, but that doesn't mean you can't do a few laps. The other drawback is there will be many a family out for a walk on the trail on the weekends, meaning you will have many chances to practice your multi-user etiquitte.
Most of the trail is suitable for new riders, but there will be a couple of dismounts, one for all but the best-balanced riders.
There's only one climb to speak of, and it will not challenge hammerheads. Recommended Route: It's a loop, pure and simple. There are connectors to many other trails and the happy jack area, but most are far less interesting doubletrack, dirt roads, or hoof-damaged cow paths complete with cow pies. Other recommended trails in the same area: Headquarters/Happy Jack

, from Louisville Summary: This is the most fun I've had riding in a long time. The trail is only 2.5 around, but it becomes a whole new ride if you then backtrack around for 5 miles total. Except for the most extreme, any level of rider can have fun here. According to the map I had, you can connect to the Happy Jack trails where Turtle Rock leads off to the left near the parking lot. Other recommended trails in the same area: Happy Jack trails are also very fun
