Ridden Trail: Once a month

Weekend Warrior Summary: The lower Snowy Range trails are actually two separate trail systems. As you leave Centennial, the Corner Mountain trails are first, on the left side of the highway. Here are about 7 miles of mostly non-threatening singletrack--a great place to take newbies. Some climbing and a few rocks; just enough to keep it interesting for you, but not so much as to scare away a new rider.
Further up the highway on your right is the Little Laramie trail system. Here you get about about nine miles of singletrack laid out in a sort of figure eight. The singletrack here is a little narrower, the climbs a little longer, and the technical requriements a notch higher. Still nothing scary, but good skills are a plus. Heading south on the west end side of the dirt road there is one great opportunity for air.
The woods are beautiful, it's always cool here and, since this is mostly known for cross-country skiing, you're not likely to see anyone else here in the summer. Bonus! Recommended Route: Stop at the ranger station just west of Centennial and pick up a map. Then just follow whichever path pleases you. Other recommended trails in the same area: Sheep Mountain
