It's not "really" mountain biking, but you need a mtb to ride it. At times it's a good gravel road, but the propensity of washouts and loose rock make it interesting. It's a great aerobic workout and a great view. About an hour up, about 7 minutes down. Other recommended trails in the same area:
The trail head on the South end of Sheep Mountain is only about 5 miles away and gives a true Wyoming riding experience.
