extreme cardio. These trails offer just enough XC between the climbs and technical stuff. Very well kept secret. This is great training. I have been racing for years and always drive the 500 miles to ride here for a week. Awesome scenery. In late August expect to have the Park to yourself, well, atleast the trails.

Summary:
I wore my teeth and gears on this trail. There used to be gruop of us who rode this everyweekend, I personally put 3000 miles on my hardtail over the years. It is technical in sections with beautiful views and breathtaking cliffs.

Recommended Route:
From someone who knows them well, ride from the parking area up the hill to the trailhead to the right Newton creek go down and around to the bridge next go the right and ride the 10 min loop, then over the bridge then across the road to the Davis downhill, look out for Norm Demonts ditch, then down to the Davis bay look out for campers at the bottom, then up the hill to Turkey Gulch trail then then go up to the right then go right to the Castle cliff sections...CAreful 300 to 400 ft drops 4ft from the edge of the trail...Straight down.. then you will head to the Castle then there is a Castle downhill ride that will take you to the lake then follow the road up the hill go to the right and back down the road. total 10 miles.. it used take 50 minute of ride time but 2 hrs of fartin around with buddies...1-2 foot drops lot of rocks and narrows...Low trees I miss it, i moved from the area.
