Weekend Warrior Summary: Lots of fun going through cross country ski trail system. Just be sure that you don't actually end up at the archery range! Go to the ski trails. There's some good single track and fire roads back in there. Nothing too steep or technical that I found.

, from Rock Springs, WY Summary: I rode the jeep trail from Beartrap, up the hill at the west end of the meadow and on over to the Archery range.. I had never been in the area before, so it was blast figuring out where to go next.. Eventually I got to the archery range and had a little trouble finding my way throough [this was 1998] But eventually found some nice s-trak.. Unfortunatly it wasn't long enough to suit me, but I did have the trail all to myself.. Beautiful place... Just needs MORE. Recommended Route: I parked at Bear Trap Meadow and rode from there.. You need to sorta know where you are going to do this.. Other recommended trails in the same area: In casper, Cedar park/Garden creek loop is interesting.. thereis also a bike path along the river .. Check at an LBS for detailed directions.. I lived in Casper as a kid and there must be more trails there worth riding.
