Lake Noquebay Trail

Average Rating:    (3 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 1

The Lake Noquebay Trail is located off of Right-of-Way Road. There are three trailheads with small grass parking lots. The trails are well marked with maps at all of the intersections and trail markers in certain areas where you could get off the trail. The trail has some short climbs, and seems to flow pretty nicely. Certain areas can be wet at times, there have been some bridges built to get you over the really wet parts. There is little traffic on the trails, but they are open to pedestrian traffic and are two-way so caution should be used.

The trail follows the general direction of the road, crossing it in a few locations. This is nice if you have a mechanical and can't make it back to the car. Also they road where the trail heads are located can lead to some very nice road routes if you bring the road bike.

Summary:
Excellent small single track MTB trail system. Just enough to challenge even the most experienced rider. No other system like this within 40 miles.

Recommended Route:
start at the north parking lot area - easy to find. head west to new trail area - (the most difficult and newest area of the trail system) then choices expand to the west further then head south. cross the main road (rustic road) and head north along the east side of road - lots of ridge riding.
