Glacier Blue Hills Recreation Park

Average Rating:    (0 of 5)

A lot of up, and down. Lots of technical climbs, definitely not for a beginner, or even worse, a noob with clipless pedals...
The trails are very spastic, no flow what so ever, and very short. Trails run from .3 to .7 miles. They weave in and out from one another.
Sometimes, due to the orientation of the obstacles, I felt like I was going the wrong way. Then came the realization that flying down some of these runs, people could been coming the other way, and I could have smahed into them....Too unorganized
It runs off of the Ice Age Trail, and has been maintained/created by the WORBA chapter (Thank you for your work). I think I just had a bad experience because of being so new to riding with clips, and I almost fell off a huge hill into trees, and a water filled kettle that I was warned about.
The Ice Age trail is good for a warmup.
Excuse the crappy pics, I just had my phone, and I am sure that I smudged the lense :)
It is a beautiful area, hiking, or biking
