Cross Country Rider Summary: I had heard about some singletrack being built at Eau Pleine, so I stopped by. Disappointing in that in the two years since I heard about it, only the original 2 mile loop seems to exist. And I found it to be almost completely overgrown. There's a decent chance I was the first to ride it all year, at least since early spring. Seemed technical, but that may have been due to the overgrowth. A lot of stone bridges and off-camber stuff. A shame, because there's a ton of room here to build quality trails.
The doubletrack trails are nice in the fall when the colors are out. Otherwise, head up to Nine Mile. Recommended Route: Ride the doubletrack on a nice fall day. Other recommended trails in the same area: Nine Mile, Standing
