Cross Country Rider Summary: Like stated below, it is fun, rooty, twisty singletrack. The trail is no longer the doubeltrack as in the past. I singlespeeded it on a 29er once last summer and had a blast. I plan to ride a few times next year. Althought no tough climbs, there is always soemthing interesting, whether it be a few rocks to handle, root to hop, or soem off camber turns. Good for a few hours of riding and a change of pace from other trails. Only saw two other riders, so far from busy. Recommended Route: Follow the number up from 1. Other recommended trails in the same area: Nine mile, Levi-Trow Mounds

Weekend Warrior Summary: Rode this for the first time today. Great singletrack, well maintained and easy to follow. Lots of roots and rocks throughout. Some tricky sections, but not an overly difficult trail. No steep, tough hills, but the trail rarely stays flat for more than a couple hundred feet.
Probably my new favorite trail in the area. Recommended Route: Follow the numbers, 1-14. Other recommended trails in the same area: Baird's Creek
Reforestation Camp

Cross Country Rider Summary: 14 miles of single track. Watch out for rocks, roots, tight turns and deer. I don't have much to say beyond what has been said below. Go out there and ride. You will not be dissappointed. I think these trails would have a much higher overall rating if you took out all of the old reviews from when it was just double track ski trails. Recommended Route: Start at trail 1 and go in order through 14. If you want zip back up the ski trails when you're done and ride some of the more challenging--I think 4, 6 and 10B are numbers, but you'll figure it out when you're there. Other recommended trails in the same area: 9 mile

Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode this trail today for the first time. I will definitely be coming back. A nice change of pace from the Brown County Reforestation Camp, which is where I mostly ride. The name Standing Rocks is appropriate because rocks are abundant here. Nothing extreme, but definitely some tricky and challenging sections. Lots of short climbs but nothing that will kill you. A lot of quick ups and downs, some off-camber stuff, and be prepared to do lots of turning; most sections of the trail don't stay straight for very long. Truly something for everyone. As others have said, the trail is now about 14 miles and almost entirely singletrack. Sweet. The trail builders have done an outstanding job. Recommended Route: The trail is well-marked. Start at 1 and keep following the numbers until you get to 14. Other recommended trails in the same area: Nine Mile, Brown County Reforestation Camp

Cross Country Rider Summary: Wow! 14 miles of continuous singletrack bliss. An occasional ski trail crossing but otherwise an amazing assault of not really techinical but still extremely fun singletrack. Recommended Route: It's 14 different singetrack segments numbered sequentially. Just duck into the woods at sign post #1 and keep following them until the end. When a singletrack section ends you will pop out onto a cross country ski trail. Just keep your eyes peeled for the next number and keep riding! Other recommended trails in the same area: Nine mile county forest in Wausau, Levis-Trow
