, from Dubuque Summary: Don't know who "Jess" is referring to as the local "Yuppies" that he/she plans to beat up on but I am sure I was never passed by him/her in a climb or descent. Perhaps "Jess" is referring to those of us who prefer to purchase new equipment regularly. This is not a forum for jealousy which seems to be the root in most people calling others "Yuppies". There is varying terrain for beginners and experts. Good climbs. Cassie's climb takes some skill to make to the top without dabbing a foot. "Never been done" and "Timmy Screamer" are both good, rocky climbs. You have to be aware of your position on the bike on "Timmy Screamer" or you can lose traction on the loose rocks. Recommended Route: Follow the locals around the trails and you will have a good ride. Some nights there are "retro" rides that go the opposite direction to throw some variety into the rides.

, from Fort Wayne Indiana Summary: The trails are on private property and are only open to club members due to liability concerns. The club sponsors group rides one night a week for most of the year including night rides. In order to ride the trails, you must be a club member and sign a waiver form. The local club and the Hirsch family sponsor an annual race called "The Block House Roll" in late september to early October. Its a must do for riders looking for a full weekend of fun. Contact the local bike shop for details or go to the club web site @http://www.freeflightbikes.com/bhr/home.htm Recommended Route: Timmy Screamer, The rippin edge, The far reaches, etc. All the trails sections are excellent.

, from Platteville WI Summary: these trails are hard core mtb trails, not some wussy path riders trail, but some pertty knarly single track. at a mile away from this hard core trail series, i wouldent move for the life of me. the anual race in sept. is the best arround. if you like major fun rides then contact me for some direcitons and you'll be on your way to biking heaven! and if you think that you cant make it, then well your a path rider, huh? well i think they are some wild trails that you should try! but im only 16 and you probably think that im just baragging up a storm, but they are really great! and these are the trails that really got me inspired to ride more than just to town and back
Recommended Route: timmy screamer Other recommended trails in the same area: one in East Troy Wisconsin. The Alpine Valley Ski Resort has a anual race in the WORS series. try them sometime
