, from Iron Mountain, MI Summary: Good single track mixed with two track makes for a nice long course, not technical, but lots of fun and a decent workout. The rollercoaster part is cool too. The lower parts of the trail by the river are very wet after any rain. I've lived across the river for 20 years and have never ridden this trail, so it was a great find and I'll be out there at least once a week from now on. Recommended Route: Start at the trail head, the best route is if you follow the signs that are posted. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fumee Lake Natural Area(in Iron Mountain, MI) & The Gorge(in Norway, MI)

, from rhinelander, wis Summary: Only rode it 2 or 3 times, it,s a bit far afield for me (they used to have a small but fun race there). Shortish (7-8 miles), but fun! There's a section called the roller-coaster (over-used trail name) on the back side that's a hoot and a little single-track down by the river. I wouldn't drive more than an hour to ride it, but if you're in the area.... Recommended Route: It's not all that long, ride it all. Other recommended trails in the same area: some-such-or-another lake 5 mi. away on the Mi. side of things (east of Iron Mountain, it's a co. park)
