Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Reviewed by: Polish Lover
, from milwaukey/green beigh Summary: a brief single track section in the woods around the water silo w/ one nice climb makes your decision worthwhile, but otherwise easy rolling on grass. bike this place on your way to military ridge, where u can sprint on flat path to work on your killer calves. If u love prairie riding w/ a camcorder to catch butterflies & nice flowers, this is your place; if you're 'johnny hospital'-minded, stick w/ quarry. Recommended Route: follow the scent of the Polish Babes, they're the best: have no worry, for nature will take care of the rest Other recommended trails in the same area: Polish Babes are tight

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from Madison Summary: Badger Praire is a good place to go if you want to pedal hard for an endurance workout.... there is no tech riding involved, just rolling hills. Was a perfect place to take the girlfriend, but go somewhere else if you are looking for a more technical ride. Other recommended trails in the same area: Quarry Park

, from Madison, WI Summary: Not a very techincal trail. A good place to take someone who has never ridden of the street before. Mowed grass with a small technical area. One of the only places that one can ride in the rain without getting muddy. Other recommended trails in the same area: Cam Rock County Park

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Madison Summary: To call this an intermediate trail is pushing it- it is an entirely smooth, mowed grass trail. Terrific for beginners, probably, but not interesting enough to hold the attention of more experienced riders. There is one little woods section that would be pretty cool if it were a lot bigger- even in that area, the most technical spot in the park, every root and rock (and there aren't many) is spray painted flourescent pink. Appropriate for new riders, perhaps, but the earlier review of "intermediate" proved disappointing for us. Recommended Route: not enough options to be able to specify
