Renny's Mudlick Pass

Average Rating:    (4.25 of 5)

You ride parallel to a beautiful trailer park view to the left and up into the woods. In the woods you got 1 big A$$ hill climb to the ridgetop. from here on it's "TRAILERPARK HEAVEN"... Then the possiblities are ENDLESS: big suicide hills, and not-so-suicidal downhills, ryrthem sections, techincal spots, high speed sections, creek beds. Anything you want for your MTB pleasure or pain. P.S. watch out it's hunting season starting in October until December...Wear your blaze orange "ski jacket"!!!

I am probably missing something here but the one decent trail I found went into posted land and everything else seems to have been recently raped by the logging companies

Recommended Route:

I cannot find this. I don't believe this trail exists or is in the state for mountain biking

Summary:
The trail starts with a gradual right and up a Hellacious hell, I mean hill. Then all the trails you want and then some you don't. Bring lots of water and food if you plan on taking your time and bring some spare tubes if you don't Enjoy, you know I did!!!

Recommended Route:
Straight down 33East from 1-79South to flashing caution
intersection on Rt.33. (State Road garage will be on leftside of highway) Slow down and turn left off 33 onto
the road between State Road Complex on left and Oakwood
Homes on right, cross railroad tracks and turn left onto
Old 33south for about 2 miles or so. On the right you'll see a trailer park and a 76 store turn onto the first road into the trailer court beside the Pawn Shop
Park behind the K&K Loans building. Right infront of the loading dock. To the right is a large field and a gate
follow the road through the field and into the woods.

Summary:
I've yet to see cheech or chong on the trail yet, but I'm sure they'll stand out with the bright ski jackets. I like this place. probably do it more than once a month as weather permits.

Recommended Route:
The first up hill climb is a must. It's long and hard but once you get to the top it's ridge riding heaven. A gradual rolling long ride. Try to stay on the ridge as long as possible. Many trails inhabit the ridge but they are relatively close to eachother (appox. 1/2 mile parallel) these sections last well into 4 miles each. That's where I find the fun. Many, many trails drop off to the left and right sides of the mountain system, going who knows where. I've yet to travel these areas.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Boyscout Camp Trails, Stonecoal Wildlife Reserve, Audra State Park... Any trails in WV!

Summary:
The next best thing to seeing Brittney spears on the internet, it may even beat that blown tire Cooper's rock scene... and AUDRA is definately better!

Recommended Route:
Choose your own adventure once you get there, but the first uphill is a necessity and then I recomend turning left then 4-wheeler trail on right and then just hit it again and again until you figure out that there is "ALOT" more than just that 1 fun spot.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Audra State Park forward or backward, and Boyscout Camp Trails, 10 mile
