Summary:
This place sucks the only reason I go there is because Dnr. keeps closing most of orv places even though we pay tabs+ discovery pass both and 0 cents go to the Orv places. Forest cutting, closed trails/roads.
Staging area is small always full hard to park a trailer must park on side of the road and risk having your truck damaged by flying rocks from riders. Trails are short and most are dead end dusty during summer. Not challenging. All the other reviews are eighter by starters or people that never went to a note orv place.

Recommended Route:
All suck especially that now they closed more roads because of the forest cutting.
Your tax dollars at work :)

Summary:
I have ridden this area for 4 years now, and I just keep finding new trails that I have not been on before. Getting to the back side is a little challenging for quads, but not bad and then you can ride for hours. Great views on the back side and the best views of mt baker. If you like to ride the roads and get up high then take cavanaugh rd around and watch for the entrance on the north side. It is also gated, but always open and has a cement barrier allowing quads to go through. Very little parking. Lots of roads, but most dead end, and also a lot of trails. I would like to see a bigger staging area allowing trailers to park easy. I have a 26' enclosed trailer and on a week-end it is hard to get it in and out of the staging area. It is a blast to ride Walker Valley!!

Recommended Route:
Cavanaugh trail to the back side.

Summary:
rocky in places, muddy in places, forest trails, smooth logging roads, some rocky roads. Enjoyed going over whoops with huge puddles at the end off of the south end of the parking lot.
There is lots of great scenery from the logging roads and some of the trails once you get up into higher elevation.

Recommended Route:
on dirt bike, ride up jeep trail

Other recommended trails in the same area:
I-5, very wild, downed tree towards end, had to pick up bike, an experinced rider should do fine on this trail.

Summary:
OK listen up !! This is an ORV park. If you do not like motorcycles stay away and/or do not complain about them. I ride/race XC, downhill, ect. mountain bikes. I also roadrace motorcycles and ride gas powered dirtbikes. If you have not guessed, if it has two wheels I ride it. This trail system was develop by motorcycle riders. Quite a few of the cool mtb riding areas were made by MOTORCYCLES. Anyway pick a trail here and go. Oh yea the old trials area is WAY cool.

Recommended Route:
Any

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Just shut up and ride. This is no place for posser wussies.
