Most of the trails are well groomed mostly due to animal traffic and the very few riders that know about the trails. There are several small climbs with a couple of log bridges a few roots and lots of tight turns. Much more technical than Miller Hill located near the main gate. I can e-mail maps.

Trail Directions
Take I-5 Exit 119 (Ft. Lewis Dupont Gate). Enter Ft. Lewis and stay on Clark Rd until you pass over the railroad tracks and then come to a stop sign. At the stop sign take a right on Kaufman Ave. Stay on Kaufman as it rounds left and then take a right onto Mann Ave. Continue until you come to the next railroad tracks and come to another stop sign. At the stop sign take a right onto Railroad Ave and continue for about a half block. You should now see building T01229 on your right and an unnamed street with a yield sign on your left. Take a left onto the unnamed street and you should now see the trailhead at the opening in the chain-link fence. The entrance veers right for 200 feet or so, then links in with a dirt road. Take a left on the dirt road and continue up the hill where it flattens out and then descends again. Continue straight down the road passing the first intersecting and climb up the next hill. As you near the top of the second hill you will come to another intersection and two orange underground cable markers directly in front of you. Pass through the markers. You're now on what we call the Main Trail. Continue on the Main Trail taking only left hand turns at intersections. Eventually you will see entrances to other trails inside of the Main Trail. Most are marked with red, orange and yellow tape. Start exploring.

Good ride anytime. Hidden under new growth timber, so it's dry even when it rains. Good ride to practice tehnical skills. E-mail me for map.
