thanks to spencer and his vage and incompleat trail review i never got to take my bike off the top of my car. if you see a trail review posted by spencer. do your self a favor. find another place to ride

Recommended Route:
recommended route? find spencer and kill him before you go, i wish i did. this guy has no busniss doing a trail review and if there is any justas in this world sombody will take his bike away from him. i drove up and down 101, 20 miles in each direction 2 times looking for little river road. it seems the spencer forgot to mention black dimond road. also the rest of his directions are vague and there are no signs to fallow......... time wasted. 3 hrs getting to port angeles 12.50 on the ferry both ways, 3 hrs looking for trail once little river rd was found. 3 hrs driving back home........ spencer. i hate you. die with festering boils. and stop doing trail reviews. you suck in a big way

Summary:
there are quite a few variations, but simpling making the long climb and enjoy the sometimes fast, sometimes subtle technical decline can be truly enjoyable, especially if someone will truck you back to the beginning.

Recommended Route:
the sconch, devils vice or tree-horn are all enjoyable

Other recommended trails in the same area:
contact jan didrickson for the newest trail... It is most likely designed for some downhill fun, so everyone should be interested

Every few months

Summary:
This is not a very technical trail but it has quite a bit of nice flowing singletrack. Many shorter downhill sections with good climbs afterward. A very enjoyable ride. There are several places to stop for great views of the Straits of Juan de Fuca and all the way to Canada.

Recommended Route:
Start on the west end at the parking lot and ride the loops till you're tired and then go down the downhill section to Mt. Angeles road and back to town to pick up a shuttle to the car. If you want more of a work out, ride up Black Diamond Rd. and Little River Rd to the trail head.
