It is very tretcherous and technical. Lots of hard spots and can be very challenging.

Summary:
Don't believe everything you read, these guys need to get off there mongooses and start riding some real trails. I have lived in the area for about ten years and know every trail in the area like the back of my hand so when my girlfiend wanted to start mountain biking, this was the first trail I thought of. She previously hadn't riddin for ten years, and she made it all the way through with know problems?

Recommended Route:
None unless you live within a block of it.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Go to either bigbend or take the extra ten minutes and go up to Victor Falls. This place has it all, and it very easy to make it a technical ride or at the very least a fun one.

Summary:
This trail is flat!! Some tricky stuff in the woods but for the most part a cake walk. Nice afternoon ride if time is limited.

Recommended Route:
From Pacific Park head South, to 8th st. bridge cross bridge head north. Trail is giant "U" with some smaller offshoots. Mostly follows the river.
