Anything your heart desires. From the Vista house on top you can get about 5 different 6 mile downhill runs. Twisty, turny, roots, creek crossings, and it's all sweet singletrack. There are also many cross country trails for you people who like to pedal. The snowmobile and cross country ski trails can give you endless miles of trails and doubletrack.

Summary:
This place rocks. Really. I was missing my beloved Tiger Mountain after living in Spokane awhile. But Mt. Spokane has an incredible loop that is just plain awesome. A decent climb mostly dirt road, middle ring all the way up for the fit. The single track down is lots of drops on roots, rocks and water bars for quite a ways from the top. The lower section has incredible flow, very nice. Watch out for hikers.

Recommended Route:
Park right inside the park boundary by the restrooms. You can hike a bike it up trail 110 a short ways or ride up the road a short way and drop onto double track and trail 110. This will meet Mt. Kit Karson road that takes you up to a saddle. This will serve as a point of return when time is limited. For the longer rides continue up the dirt road. Meets up with a little paved road to get you finally to the top. At vista house look for trail 135. When you pop out down at the saddle trail 110 is the way down.

Beacon Hill
Riverside
South Hill

Summary:
Awesome network of DH and XC trails that is one of the best in the area. There are about 5 designated DH trails that are devoid of stunts and drops but are more geared tword full speed descents that are littered with switchbacks, turns and loose rock. Some DH rides can last as long as an hour. These trails can be ridden on a hardtail if you can pick your lines carefully. Respect the park and Bear Creek Lodge at the bottom. Also be carefull as this is a prime area for horse riders and hikers.

Recommended Route:
Go to the vista house at the top and pay your 5 bucks for parking and haul ass down from the top and have a beer at the bottom. Have someone give you a ride back to your rig and repeat!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Beacon Hill, Silver Mt, Hall Mt, Cariboo ridge, bernard

Summary:
This palce is prime right now since to ride it you need to ride to the top and that weeds out many a weakling or runt. Awesome single track and good fast technical fun.

Recommended Route:
Up the Norba National DH trail or up Mt kit Carson loop trail to the rd to top to the top from Kirks lodge 12 miles down the road. Down either trail 100, 110, 130 are the best descents. Loop rd is the best ascent vs the rd now under construction.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Canfield Mtn in Couer d-alene, ID. Tower Mtn, Beacon except in the dead of summer ( too hot and dry), Deep creek, Dishman-Mica, lastly for sure the south Hill or the Bluff or what ever else they coined it.

Summary:
It must be the best riding area within 100 miles of Spokane. Don't buy a bike then head here, get some experience first. This trail can ruin you or your bike. Exposed slimy roots, loose shale, mud, trees, drops, hard turns banked the wrong way, declinig switchbacks with obstacles on single track. What more do you want? My wife about had her first and last experience here. Luckily she wants to continue, but it's two weeks later and the bruises are finally now starting to turn yellow. What a mistake this was.

Recommended Route:
trail 110

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Bernard peak, Athol ID.
