Summary:
Quite simply one the best hard core trails designed in the entire Inland Northwest. The 22 foot rolling waterfall drop is insane. Dan the man is a genius for designing this materpiece.

Recommended Route:
Follow the directions given below

Summary:
One of the stepest drops in Washington with a perfect sloped landing. Probably along the lines of 18 to 22 feet. The rest of the trail is boulders with drops. It is the sickest trail on Beacon no days bar none.

Recommended Route:
Trail number 3. This is a very hidden trail but its a freaking gem. Dan from the South Hill Wheelsport store designed this thing. Its behind a very large boulder and three trees covering the start of the trail. Ask Dan for more directions

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The downhill course on Beacon.

Summary:
Is this a joke? Trail #3 has step drops and was made by Dan and Vince. It is very good. If your serious about this trail then make it known! There are many good technical trails on Beacon and very skilled riders who know how to ride them. We would like any info about more.

Recommended Route:
Cannot find any signs

Summary:
Twenty foot Cliff drop starts the trail which is slightly angled so that the bike gets traction yet maintains speed to get you through it. Several other smaller drops and several tricky derailer breakers. Rock sections make the trail difficult at times to follow but the signs marking the Hewelettantor are up and make it easier to follow. The trail is named after Extreme Rider Mike Hewlett who is currently filming "Chain Ringed in Alaska." Mike designed this trail, this is a Downhill only trail so please don't try it on a cross country bike.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
13 Drops to Doom, Zipper, Trail #3, etc.
