Cross Country Rider Summary: This is a great Trail. I ride this trail 3 times a week. But is easy to get lost if you just keep riding and not paying attention. Also it's easy to go on the walkers only route. But all in all a very good trail. Recommended Route: 11, 109, 118. Other recommended trails in the same area: Heart Lake and Whistle lake.

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is a well maintained circuit of trails for mountain bikes, horses and walkers. The trails are marked accordingly and maps are available at local bike shops. The bike trails vary from pretty technical in spots to easy. The funnest part of these trails was around 112 and 115. From reading the other reviewers, these trails are lame when muddy, but don't let that daunt you. Ive been to several good trails and these were the best Ive been to (I went in august and it was dry as a bone). I can't believe this trail only has 2 stars. The only downfall of this area is there are very few places to air it out. Lots of roots and rocks so you start itching to haul butt once in awhile. Recommended Route: Only been there once and had an awesome time. We rode for 3 hours and covered pretty much the whole area. I recommend circling the lake. Bring a good map and whatever you do, don't accidentally go down a walkers only trail because you'll end up carrying your bike for half a mile (and hauling it up a cliff). Pay attention to the signs. The funnest part of the trail was around 112 and 115.

, from Snohomish, WA Summary: Well I liked it ok - lots of trees, a few lakes to cruise by, wide single track, but it is pretty rooted & muddy. Technical, but too much trouble for speed demons.

, from Anacortes, WA Summary: This place is terrible. The riding is very boring and not worth the trouble. There are tons of stinging nettles everywhere. The mosquitos are so bad it is intolerable. I can't believe anyone would give this place a good rating. Its set up for family walks, not for hardcore mountain biking. If you want good riding in this area go to Walker Valley O.R.V. park near East Mt Vernon, WA. Thats where the good stuff is. Recommended Route: Anywhere but here. Other recommended trails in the same area: walker valley
