Summary:
Some of the most demanding trail riding around. Base trails are fun and fast. Very technical as you climb or ride up the mountain. Nice campgrounds halfway up and a good place to grab a bite to eat. Once you visit, you will want to keep coming back for more.

Recommended Route:
Widecat Trail to the Camp Grounds then take either Widecat or Beaver Pond Trails to the Vista Summit.

Summary:
I did a short ride of 2.5 miles up to the camp and then back. This is a wider than singletrack multi-use trail, and I did see about 6 hikers coming down. There are some loose rocks and some roots, but it is not exceptionally technical. Intermediate stuff with a few short, steep climbs. it was a little challenging for me, but I probably could clean most of the stuff if I was more familiar with the trail. The trail goes through lush forest, and some clearcut areas, but it is a good ride. I'd ride this one again if I lived around here, but I only had time for the short ride. I saw some bear clawmarks on a tree, but no bear. Close to Silverdale and Bremerton.

Recommended Route:
Up Wildcat Trail from the parking lot. Only one way to go from there.

Summary:
My friends and I rode up the Wildcat trail, uphill for the most part, to the summit. The Wildcat trail is very challenging as you are going up hill. lots of rocks and lose gravel. Once you reach summit and go back down take the beaver creek trail, some awesome downhills with berms rocks and all that other fun stuff.

Recommended Route:
up then down

Summary:
Once you are on the Beaver Pond Trail there are too many choices for me to attempt to list here, but if you stay to your right and head down the hill at all intersections you will eventually cross a small bridge and see what appears to be an unrideable uphill. Grind up that bad boy and follow the signs to the summit. Enjoy the view. If you are tired you can easily get back to the GM parking area (map at summit will help) but if you feel like more punishment you can head over to the other side of the mountain (about 4 miles) and either take the road back to your car or backtrack. Whichever way you decide to choose it will be a gratifying ride that will last anywhere from 2-5 hours. HAVE FUN! The hills are many and steep with lots of varried terrain. Expect water, roots, rocks, loose dirt, hardpack, and berms. No super huge drop offs though...

Recommended Route:
From the parking lot there is only one way to go, and that is up. After the 4th fire road crossing is where things become interesting. I recommend crossing the road and taking the 1st right onto the Beaver Pond Trail and get lost form there. There is a map at the parking lot, look for the summit and enjoy your day.
