Simply, miles of singletrack. Loops of up to 12 miles are possible with little same direction travel on the same trail. You will backtrack some, but most of the sections are completely different when reversed. No maps exist, so remember your turn options as you ride (can't count how many riders me and my buddies have directed out). Winter is muddy, wet, and technical due to tight turns, roots, and, well, mud. Summer is FAST. Most of the trail system in on King County Park land, scheduled for development (soccer/baseball fields, mixed use trails) I'm posting this little secret in hopes that everyone who comes for a ride will return the favor of my post with an email/letter/phone call to KCP requesting they preserve the existing trail system for mountain biking. This worked at Big Finn Hill--let's make it work here. The alternatives for winter riding aren't pretty, and during the summer it will just mean more folks at Tiger.
North on East Lk. Samammish Parkway from I-90. North to stop light at 43rd(?, about 2 miles). Right up hill, through lights. Right at light onto 24th. Continue on road, take required left. Go about 1 mile further, and start looking for wide spots for parking on both sides of road. Trail enters woods on left.
Summary: For people who live near the Issaquah/Sammamish area, this area is a great place to ride between October and April when Tiger is closed. The trail system is not very technical, but like the reviewer before said, just ride faster. It's nice that maps are posted for you throughout the area, but I prefer just ignoring them and keeping my flow. Plan out your first 4 or 5 turns right off the bat and then stop. It's super easy to find your way back home. The trails can get really muddy during the Winter months, but I would take that over the Summer nettles any day. I don't think you're supposed to ride this area at night, though it would be a great place for night riding. Does anyone know if this is allowed?
Recommended Route: Get Lost!
Other recommended trails in the same area: Tiger, Tolt, Tapeworm.

If you enter this trail off of West Beaver Lake Road SE, beware there is a Momma bear with 2 cubs in the area. I heard her rustling in the brush about 40yds of the trail at Grand Junction. Didn't see her cubs but I'm sure they weren't too far off. Make some noise if you go into this area as not to startle her.

Summary: Trails are dry and fast, very wide open, and very well maintained although wet weather is looming. Nice trail maps posted at main intersection, no mondo hills but plenty of fine riding for most skill levels, Blue Jay is somewhat technical, and Devils Slide is awesome heading South.
Recommended Route: There are a number of fine loops, you can easily get a good 1.5 hrs of riding, more with a few oposite direction trails.
Other recommended trails in the same area: T-Mac, and St Eds. very Similar to this area.

Summary: These trails can be ridden and enjoyed by all skill levels. Too easy? Ride faster! Plenty of stinging nettles make sleeves a great choice for these trails. Bring your bread crumbs, route finding can be trick for first timers. Otherwise these trails are in great shape compared to Tiger Mtn. or St. Edward SP.
Recommended Route: Recent road construction in the area requires you to take a fork to the right in order to stay on Beaver Lake Drive (24th). This occurs after following the bend in the road to the left. King County Parks list Beaver Lake as being recently trasferred to the City of Sammamish.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Tolt-McDonald
