Downhiller Summary: This trail has recently reopened thanks to the work of the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, and today I was able to get out there for the first time. Overall the trails are fairly twisty with lots of roots, similar to portions of Tolt or Lake Sawyer. The area is mildly rolling, so no real climbs or downhills to speak of. There's three or four small but well built log rides scatterred throughout the place, but no woodwork or jumps of any sort. One nice thing about the trail system is that it's VERY well marked, each intersection is given a WayPoint number which corresponds to the map you can download here:
http://evergreenmtb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Trail:Paradise_Valley
The markings are important as some trails here are off use to bikes, and only for hiking or horses. There's also one section on the map marked "mountain bike park", though to be honest I have no idea why it's called that as it's basically just more twisty tight single track like the rest of the place.
Overall maybe a fun place to build up your slower speed skills, but definitely not the place to go for flowy or fast single track. I could see this being popular with the single-speeders. Recommended Route: It's a smaller system and well marked, so any trail you follow will more or less let you string together some loops without a chance of getting lost. I was able to ride all of the bike trails in under two hours. There's a lot of trail crammed into the area they had to work with, I would have preferred to see some more flowy sections and less of the endless little loops. Other recommended trails in the same area: St. Edward's, South SeaTac, Tolt-McDonald

, from Duvall Summary: WB, I'd love to know why you feel this way. Perhaps if you were to come out from behind your anonymous electronic curtain, we could talk about it. It's obvious you think you know me. There is already a map that is being approved by the county and should be going into use fairly soon. We already tried putting up junction markers there and they were torn down within a couple weeks. Only 3 remain. The map that is passed out at club rides is very accurate and also contains the new Shuttle memorial trail. If you want the latest copy, let me know. It would save you some time. There is a new county site planner and the local focal group is working with them to re-start trail maintenance projects there as soon as the county gives the word. It's also possible that we will have a real parking area within the year. So, keep you fingers crosssed. Concessions are also being planned for many of the dead end and short, but steep trails to be closed in order to be able to keep the others. Watch for more work parties as they come up. Recommended Route: pick one. Most are good trails. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lord Hill, Tolt, St. Ed's, Cherry valley

, from hahatown Summary: dont peddle up the short steep hill. there is a trail that climbs up on the east side of the road. when you park there will be a gravle road go down that for about 30 yards and look for a trail on the left. stay left as you enter this trail. i'm working on a map of the area. as soon as i finish researching the names of all the trails i'll build signs. there are trails all over. some better than others. if i was a club member i would get with the trail maintance guru and see about closing rairly used dead end trails Recommended Route: bob b and tom, this is not a public forem. i did ( my review ) thats how it goes. get over it. all i can say about the secret keeping issue is. i was told by the ride leader of a BBTC group ride ( not to tell anybody about this trail ) very sorry about the misunderstanding. perhaps i got confused when they told me that they did not want the trail that the club built to become over travled. * shrug * the BBTC is a great club that does great things. its quite possable that this person that gave me this information was mistaken. bob b, in my humble opion your the biggest snob in the club. its people like you that give people like you a bad name. >> i assume that i am getting the truth from BBTC ride leaders... your personally leading rides there for over 5 years does not impress me eather. another thing while i'm at it, you have no idea how your ( i'm better than you ) attitude affects other club members.
Other recommended trails in the same area: cherry vally is nice but there are few trails
