Summary:
Galbraith is a really cool place to ride. If you don't go up top, you'll never see how good it is. There's a whole lot of trails, for all different types of riders, but they don't forget about us thrill seekers, either. Whether it be 911, Evo, Meth Lab, or any of the other great trails to hit, you won't be dissapointed you came.

Recommended Route:
I would reccomend riding all the way to the top, (Evo) and then riding down Evo, If you wan't there's another flow trail below that, which is really challenging, or you can take the fire road to the littler trails down below. After those two options you should take 911, and Meth Lab. Then, if there's time, find
Cedar Dust.

Summary:
Galbraith can really piss me off sometimes. Almost all the stunts are super sketchy. Some have impossible run ups, but mostly the stunts are few and far between. Nobody takes the time to build high quality trail. But It's got some good stuff, too. I'm going to built my own trail, and I'm going to make it high quality, too. I don't care how long it takes.

Recommended Route:
I normally take the north side climb, then cedar dust, then upper the "fire road", "the wall", or "the death climb" (all are the same big hill after cedar dust). Then I hit up 911. I can do they couple hundred foot long log ride, its the best on galbraith, though it is sketchy, but in this case sketchy is fun. Then I do cedar dust in reverse, and upper and lower bobs, then karma.

Summary:
Looove Galbraith. Not too bad a climb up, then any style trail you want to ride down. I love Evo, SST, 911, and Bob's; all have great jumps and drops. You gotta go all the way to the top if you have time, otherwise up ridge trails and around and back down Bob's. If you're not into big stuff, you can go around all the drops and jumps and still get lots of great, technical riding.

My only complaint is that you sometimes have to ride a while to get to the trails you like, you can't just flow down like WHistler or something like that, but then you pay a freakin' lot of money for Whistler and Galbraith is free, so there you go.

Recommended Route:
Up ridge trail, down Cedardust, up "Upper Whimps" road, over to 911, then across "lower Whimps" to the bottom of Cedardust. I like to take Family fun Center to the top of Bob's, then down Bob's and out. That's a good 2 hour trip.

If you have more time or want to start from the Padden side, you have to go to the top, then take Evo, go to either Shawn's or 911, then over to Not shawns and down that side. So many options for trails, so just explore, but if you get lost, it's a lot of peddling to find your way back, I know... :)

Summary:
This trail is great! It has a huge variety of stuff, including nice singletrack, stunts, and north shore style log rides! All the stunts have ways to ride around them. You must ride up to go down.

Summary:
Galbraith is the local spot for some serious riding. No need to go Northshore unless you're bored with the stuff here. To get to the top its a serious climb especially for those of you like me that ride a 50lb. bike with way to much travel. Takes about 30-40 minutes for a non cross country normal guy, more if you take breaks. BEFORE you try it out on your own first visit, MAKE SURE to stop at a local bike shop and buy a MAP ($6) and ask for some advice... It's NECESSARY to find where the good spots are. The shops I recommend are Fairhaven Ski and Sport, Kulshan Cycles, or Fanatik Bike Co. They're awsome guys and can hook you up with any extras you might need for the ride.

Recommended Route:
My session route for short trips has lately been lower and upper ridges to Ceder Dust, then turn around to ceder again the other way and hit up upper and lower bobs. Total trip time is like 1-2 hours if you have fun.

If you're in for a good trip and some fun, go all the way to the cell/microwave towers.... I'm talkin all the way up. There's fun stuff like the Stinger and some boards with gaps and some good size drops.

There's a new trail called SST (Super Sonic Transport), which has AWESOME flow. Ask the shop guys where it is, if they tell you then it's cool to do it... if not then I guess it's tough luck :-)

Other recommended trails in the same area:
If you're in the mood for some flat nice scenic trials that you can ride your street bike on hit up the interurban that goes from upper D-town bham to Larabee st. park. Otherwise, it's Bellingham, there's trails all over the place.
