Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Cross Country Rider Summary: First time in the trails....I read the first post and decided to give this spot a try. This is my first season living in North Spokane, so I've been looking for a few quick, local rides. Nad that's what this is....A small, close-to-town spot to get out and ride. I just got back from ridding about 30 min ago. Nothing spectacular, but fun little trails....nice views. Not bad for a quick, close-to-home spin. Recommended Route: I rode from my house. Hit the park, spun up the meadow area to the right. Then climbed the ridge-line headed south....ran the traverse trail until I hit a dead end just above the water-tower. Took a windy little down section (very nice) back toward the meadow. Spun around down there for a while. Went home. Jumped in pool. Other recommended trails in the same area: The obvious Spokane staples...Beacon, Riverside, the Bluff, Liberty Lake, etc. Looking for more Northside trails....

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from Spokane Summary: I've done the trails in the Holmberg Park area for years. They are indeed fun, and the view of the North Side is fantastic. The numerous trails run for only a few miles overall, but one can easily make a loop if you hate to back-track. One of these days I'll find a way to the top of Five Mile Prairie! Recommended Route: From downtown follow Wall Street up to Holmberg Park. Turn West and head uphill behind the park into the trail area.
