Weekend Warrior Summary: ACCESS CHANGED! There is NO public access through private land to Lopez Hill. NO ACCESS THROUGH FLICKER LANE OR LOPEZ HILL ROAD. PLEASE!
The Friends of Lopez Hill built a new public access trail in the summer of 2006 and have published a map of the trail system. The map is the best way to find Lopez Hill. A donation of $2 per map is requested. Your donations help fund trail maintenance and conservation projects on Lopez Hill.
Order from: Friends of Lopez Hill, P.O. Box 292, Lopez Island WA 98261 Recommended Route: All the trails are great! Twisty singletrack, roots and rocks. As of 2006 there are no signs, so either get a map or be prepared to get really lost!
Plase respect the public land boundaries and do not go beyond the "No Public Access" signs. If you can't stay off private land, please don't come to Lopez Hill.
