Angler's Ridge Trail System

0 of 5
The Angler's Ridge Trail System is a new trail system which weaves it's way throughout the new "CyberPark" industrial park just southwest of the Danville Regional Airport. Using the old gravel farm roads as a backbone, IMBA-inspired singletrack has been constructed throughout the park. Over 6 miles of wooded singletrack with multiple creek crossings and log crossings await.
These trails were used to host Danville's first-ever MTB race held in September of 2003 as part of the Virginia Derailer Race Series. The race loop includes almost every trail including "Little Pisgah", "Slingshot", "Hot Tamale", "Screaming Eagle", and "Angler's Ridge Trail".
Thanks to the Southern Virginia Mountain Bike Association for their hard work and dedication and their great partnership with Danville's Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. The SVMBA leads great club rides every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. They can be contacted through e-mail at svmba@adelphia.net.
Hwy 29 Bypass (just south of Hwy 58 East intersection) to Danville Welcome Center. Follow signs to Boat Ramp via Stinson Road and Northside Drive. Angler's Park Boat Ramp and Mountain Bike Trails are co-located. Check trailhead kiosk for trail map and other information.
