Cross Country Rider Summary:
Kick butt jeep trail ride with loads of elevation and easy logistics. I rode this ride today in under 3 hours and covered a big mountain right outside of town. Recommended Route:
Climb poor mountain road (route 612 from route 11 in Salem). Continue across ridge to 4-way intersection. Drop fire road on right. I recommend shuttling the 10 mile section of Route 11 between Elliston and Salem. Other recommended trails in the same area:
Ft. Lewis mountain, Potts Mountain
