, from vienna Summary: This is the toughest MTB course that can be ridden. Hell part of it cant. Narrow trails with 50 foot drop offs and steep STEEP down hills. EXPERT only. Seriously. This is the real real stuff and if your not good or carefull there is the real chance you could lose your life. Schweet

Ridden Trail: Once a year

, from Richmond Summary: The is a GREAT course. The only bad part is the fire road start. Anyway, once you get off the fire road you start a great climb that will wear you down a little bit. Once on top this is where the the fun begins and this is what makes the course - in my opinion. You go up and down and down along the crest of the mountain. The terrain is mostly shale that is loose. It would be nice to have a full suspension on the course. Once at the end you begin a downhill that is similar to being on a down hill grand prix course. You gain immense speed and then you must slow down to make a turn. Then you speed up again. You better have good brakes. Once down you hit the fireroad again and go back to the start area. There are some other sections that I did not include like the ring of fire and the beginner course. All and all, a great ride. Recommended Route: I ride on this during the race, so I simply begain at the start. Other recommended trails in the same area: Potts Mtn.
