Dam Neck

Trail has is a good 3-5 miles long mostly flat. Single track the whole way with jumps and rolling surface. After rain is a bad time to go. Many diferent ways to get lost back here but all trails connect. Pretty well taking care of.

Ridden Trail:
Ridden Once

Reviewed by: johns81cj5 ,  Weekend Warrior

Summary:
This trail is the best trail in Va Beach, it's not much but fun to hit for a quick ride. It has been used allot by 4-wheelers which has put allot of ruts, but it makes you have to pay attention to the trail. The trail ends after about 1.8 miles into the ride so you have to turn around and back track. There are two trails that run side by side most of the way; the upper trail has more rolling hills which makes it more challenging. The trail is good for beginners or if you don't feel like driving to the peninsula.

Recommended Route:
Drive into the trail and stay left until the trail ends by a subdivision. Then turnaround and follow the trail back. It's about 3.5 miles round trip.

Summary:
I think that the wetter the better i love the mud. i moved her 2 years a go for m NJ. and this is the best local trail that i have found . ( which is not saying much) At least when wet it is a little more of a challenge. I if you are not in to dirt then get a street bike. I give this trial a 3 only becuase I don't have to drive a hour to get to get.

Ridden Trail:
Ridden Once

Reviewed by: Roscoe Scarborough , from Virginia Beach, VA.

Summary:
This trail has been obviously 4wheeled on... completely destroyed for the first hundred yards. I was discouraged by solid mud and standing water over the entire trail. It hasn't rained in 3 days. Rear sections of this trail may exist but from what I saw it is gone. Plus there are multiple no trespassing signs and parking at the entrance screams "Hey, I'm Trespassing". If we get a drought i will explore and see if something still exists.

Recommended Route:
Drive right past the trail and head over to Ipswitch.
