Bark Camp Lake Loop

Sort of Twisty and Rocky trail gets real hard when it rains. Plus look out for the chacks in the rocks when the leaves are on the ground they will bite ya hard.Be on the look out for washed out bridges witch happened this summer in a storm. If you want a extra hil clim go below the dam and tak that trail all the way out to the road and go to your left.

Summary:
I finally discovered this trail over the weekend after almost three years in the Wise County area. I am quite pleased with it. It is not a difficult trail at all, as there is very little elevation gain as you ride. There are some nice rocky patches, a couple of log crossings, and some nice hairpin turns. A big downer right now is there are a number of high logs that are uncrossable across the trail that need to be cut out. Also, there is a bridge that has been washed out about halfway around the lake that requires riders to make a rather hairy bike tote across a log bridge - don't fall in!

All in all, though, this is a solid trail that makes for a great workout.
