Contest Trail

Average Rating:    (3 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 3

5.5 mile loop of smooth single track. START by continuing from the parking area and riding up the road. Stay on the road until you see the marked bike trail on the right. Make 2 short but steep climbs to flater rolling terrain. Finish through the field and rolling downhill back to the car. The trail is mostly smooth with rolling ups and downs. The last 2 miles is worth the climbs in the beginning.

Summary:
This trail network is pretty lame. Absolutely NO tech sections. You pretty much ride up a fire road/double track and then come back down... What's the point? It's like a mountain bike trail for triathletes that can't turn... pretty lame.

Recommended Route:
Back in the car and the heck outta dodge

Summary:
A combination of forrest road and singletrack. The unmaintained forrest road is more like a rocky double track and keeps things lively. Nice rolling singletrack descent. Watch out for bears.
