Summary:
Well, the trails are nothing too spectacular. Its a relatively short trail network- the best routes run through the woods, but unfortunately the majority of the trails seem to be the wide, grassy type running through big fields. I don't know about you but I hate riding on grass. The woods trails are just too short, and on top of that are criss-crossed by sap lines all over the place.
However, I'd still recommend this place to locals (within biking distance) and tell them to go check it out at least once. For one thing its very clearly marked and very clearly open to mountain bikers. There's some neat stuff to see, like Peet's Ledge and an old run down sugar house. Best of all the goat, mentioned in a review from 2000, is still there, and along with two turkeys forms the Maple Trails welcoming committee.

Recommended Route:
Just head up the hill and start exploring.

Hinesburg forest

went today. kinda sucked. not much to do, and lots of whatnot in the way. I got totally scarred up by lots of bushes with sharp thornes on them. I should have gone to camp johnson.

Summary:
Somwhat small, but if u have an hour or two to cruise the race style trails it's worth it. Find the cool downhills inthe woods or a open burnier. Plenty of wildlife along with some farm animals. Bring some granola for "Billy" the goat, he will greet u at the start of the trails :)
Trails are for all abilities... ride as hard or light as u want. Have fun. See seasonal races, too.

Recommended Route:
Sweet Run... nice tight downhill.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Catamount
