The Ranches Rim Trail

Average Rating:    (4 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 1

This trail is essentially a double track ATV trail. It begins as a dirt road right out of the Ranches community. It climbs quickly on fairly loose dirt and fist sized rocks. As you reach a small crest, stay left and continue to climb. It isn't a long climb but it is steep and slightly technical. Upon reaching the top, follow the ridgeline to the south. There are multiple off shoots of this ridge trail and any of them are worth riding. There are several other trails in the area that are being built or improved by local mountain bikers. It would be worth riding around and checking things out. This is a great fitness trail for local riders. Don't know if I would recommend it for those who would have to drive any distance to get to it as there are tons of great trails in the Utah County area.
