Perry Canyon

Average Rating:    (4 of 5)

Perry Canyon trail is mostly singletrack, and mostly uphill. You climb from the base of the canyon and later have the option of going to what is called whiterock, or to grizzly peak. If you go towards whiterock you will weave your way over to the shoreline and follow it until you get to whiterock. If you go towards grizzly peak you will continue to climb your guts out! The trails and bridges are groomed and very nice. You could spend 2-4 hours on this trail depending on your destination, and fitness level.

Summary:
This is a fun singletrack ride, mostly uphill but the ride down is super fun. Trails are groomed, and maintained by an older guy named Stan. We ride this about once/twice a week time permitting of course! It will get you in shape real quick too!

Recommended Route:
From the south (salt lake/ogden): On I-15 NB take exit 357 in Willard, turn east (right) up to Hwy 89. Turn north (left) and follow Hwy 89 into Perry City. Once you reach 3000 South turn east (right) and go all the way to the top. Enter the fenced area and park by the pond. The trailhead is marked with a metal bear looking thing.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
This is pretty much the only trail system that does not suck in the Brigham/Perry area.
