Summary:
The McCoy Flats trail system is some of the best desert riding in the state. I love the various levels of terrain, from beginner to advanced. There are lots of various loops to changed up a ride every time you go. There are lots of technical drops/climbs/sections with lots of smooth-fast flowing sections. The trails are well maintained by local crews/shop support.

I have seen antelope and foxes on this ride and of course always be on the alert for prairie dog holes. They seem to pop up in the middle of the trail from one ride to the next.

Recommended Route:
I really enjoy retail sale, and up Jackalope and down Dippity. They are both fun. Jackalope for a better aerobic workout with the climb up the first half, and Dippity for the descent afterward. I enjoy retail sale because of the quality of cross country terrain you go on. Retail has more technical sections, but requires less psychical prowess. All the other trails are great also, I just tend to ride these ones more often.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Slippery when wet (also in McCoy flats system., Jazz chrome-olie (in the red fleet area)
