Maple Hollow Downhill Trail

Average Rating:    (5 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 1

The Maple Hollow Downhill Trail is a 2.5 mile trail built specifically for downhill riding. You can access the trail from the Suncrest Subdivision at the top of the hill off of Traverse Ridge Road. There is a trailhead near the intersection of Deer Ridge Drive and Elk Glen Drive. The trail has recently been revamped in the fall of 2012 to include a series of rollers, huge berms, table top jumps, step downs, step ups, hip jumps, and wooden features. Expert riders will enjoy hitting the big line with 30-foot jumps and intermediate riders can test there skills on series of five 12-18ft jumps. The trail ends on Traverse Ridge Road near Vintage View Lane.

The revamped section of the Maple Downhill Trail is one of the best sections of downhill trail I've ridden in Utah. The jumps are well spaced, the flow is good, and the trail is wide enough to ride as fast as you want. There's enough variety to keep you coming back for more. Hopefully, we'll get funding to improve the trail from top to bottom in the near future.

Recommended Route:
Please make sure to stay off the trail during winter months and after rain. The trail surface has tons of clay and riding in wet conditions destroys all the hard work put into building it.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Clarks Trail, Ghost Falls Trail, Ann's Trail
