Gambel Oak Loop

Average Rating:    (0 of 5)

The Gambel Oak Trail in Park City is a short but enjoyable singletrack loop that circles a small mountain overlooking the resort town of Park City. Aerobically, it’s not too tough, but the loop has two miles of narrow twisting trail in tight trees, earning the trail an overall advanced technical rating. There are several places along the trail where a rider could bail out and return by road to the trailhead. The west side is easy flowing singletrack which overlooks the city below. On the more difficult east side, you encounter roots, bumps, and tight squeezes on a trail that’s constantly turning, climbing, and dropping. The lower elevation of this trail allows for earlier riding than most trails in the Park City area.
