Flume Trail

Average Rating:    (4.5 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 2

Trail built by Skyline Cycles. Fun tight singletrack for mountain bikers only! It is superfast singletrack with rolling hills, turns, and burms all the way down the valley. There's a cool narrow 30 foot North Shore woodbridge along a side of a cliff and ride on the windy singletrack with a good view in front of you. Then descend really fast with lot's of twists and descents. Fun jumps and whoops. Good superfast flume-like singletrack and a fun ride.

Summary:
this trail was good except one area on the upper section after you cross the river bed it gets real sandy and then you start to climb along side a steep hillside(go thorugh a couple of gates) which for the most part you will be walking because the dirt is so loose and its mostly too steep....this section of "bad trail" is between the river crossing and the upper flume site loop...this section of trail needs to be redesigned or something...best to skip this part and ride the gravel road to the upper flume loop...other than that its a great trail with great views and a fun flowy return downhill....make sure you park at the very bottom of the trail and ride up to hit all the fun tech stuff

Summary:
This is a fun trail and it feels like a roallercoaster ride once you get going. It feels fast. Lot's of twists and burms going down. I recommend you try the Pioneer Trail too(listed in the reviews also). Also built by Skyline Cycles. It's about an hour more and it's more singletrack fun.

Recommended Route:
Go do the 6 mile loop by going up 'til Taylor's Flat then go down the trail. Or do the Pioneer Trail, then the Flume Trail for more downhill fun.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Pioneer Trail which is higher, Pioneer and Flume Trails are the only trails in Sanpete that were built by mountain bikers. Pioneer is listed in the reviews too.
