Cooler than west side of hill, more shade to be had, more dirt than rocks. Slalom course through the woods is crazy fun. Modest climb of only 400 ft or so and length of only 5 or so miles makes this a nice one to combine with a stretch of cutler or lomond trails.

Summary:
Good all around trail, upper sections can be a little overgrown in the spring after meltoff, gets great in the summer after trail crews come through and trim it back. It has a backcountry feel and spits you out in Cutler Flats, really good as a fall ride. Watch out for moose, a buddy and I got stuck on the trail with a cow and calf and about got more of a bang than bargained for.

Recommended Route:
Start at gate above Cutler Flats, watch for creek crossing in the valley were trail switch backs, smaller climb up to top of ridge.........then rock and roll back into Cutler Flats.
