Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is one of the better trails I've ever ridden in the United States. It's hard (really a 4+ aerobically) but every bit as beautiful as the more famous Thunder Mountain Trail, which is in the same area. Recommended Route: As stated in the description: up Red Canyon paralleling Hwy 12 on the bike path to FS 121 to FS 120 to Casto Canyon Trail to Cassidy Trail. The extremely fit might enjoy doing Cassidy as an out-and-back; that way you'll experience its magnificence twice in one ride. I wouldn't do this ride on a singlespeed unless you're qualified for the next Olympics. That makes it very much unlike Thunder Mountain Trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Thunder Mountain Trail, obviously.
