Cross Country Rider Summary: Wonderful cross-country trail. Great views, remote (we didn't see a single person on a May weekday), fun challenges. We saw beautiful flowers and 2 large Bull snakes, but the main attraction is the spectacular valley and colorado river. Rock features are intermediate in difficulty and plentiful enough to keep this ride always interesting for skills too. Routfinding was mostly easy even though our map wasn't quite right because you can always go toward the rim to find the trail. You can take it easy for a long ride, or hammer it for a workout. Recommended Route: You can drive to the trailhead at a primitive campground on the Kokopelli trail near exit 227 in Utah, about 20 miles from Fruita CO. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fruita, Moab
