Luke's Trail
2 reviews
4 of 5
Tight, winding Singletrack thru junipers, pinions, cactus and cliff-lines. Luke''s is a sweet 12-mile out & back with a bonus-loop on the end, OR you can connect From the top to Mead''s Rim, Floating Rocks, or other Singletracks in the system.
Summary: Tight, twisty, sometimes loose single track on mesa top. See www.utahmountainbiking.com for detailed info and maps. Luke's is a good trail for beginners. Floating Rocks and Mead's add some technical challanges. These trails will give your slow speed bike handling skills a work out. No high speed buffed trails here.
Recommended Route: short ride: up luke's, at end cross road and stay on ST across wash to Mead's (new section of trail not on maps) lower half of Mead's is new trail and now comes out 100 yds north of Luke's.
long ride: add in Allens loop and at the end of Luke's TL on dirt road, ride up to the white, shot up, wrecked car.(hard to miss) then take right onto Floating rocks Tr. then down to Meads
