Jelly Roll Deferment Program

Ok, this isn't a trail review by any stretch, but a way for those of you with desk jobs that commute, to fit in a little bike time without conflicting with your work schedule. I drive 45 miles each way to work every day (provo to slc) and work 12 hour days. This leaves me with very little daily bike time. So I came up with the idea of parking my car 10 or so miles away and riding in. This gets me 20 miles a day on the bike, and that jelly roll off my waist without too much effort. (schedule wise) You can determine how hard the ride is by where you park. I generally like to get into work without the stench of death around me, so I park on the foothills for an easier ride in. On the way back, I've got a sweet uphill ride that can easily be converted into a more intense one by heading into the mtns, if I want. I'm sure this is not new to some of you out there, and others of you hammerheads would probably ride all the way in and back. But, for those of you like me who hammer it on the weekends, but miss riding during the week because of your job, try parking it for awhile. You'll feel better, ride stronger on the weekends and save a bit of the environment while you're at it. Enjoy!!
Summary: the only thing "gay" around here is the punks who think this is "gay"! why don't you take all your DH'n (by that i mean dry humpin' because you don't want to put it in her, cause deep down inside you want your buddy jim!) ass's and throw yourself off of some fifty footer! why can't you just be happy for someone who wants more time on his/her bike? it's not about how fast you go, or how much style you have while doing it... it's about being on your bike and enjoying every minute of it!
Recommended Route: any way you can go to get more time on your bike....
Other recommended trails in the same area: any trail that doesn't have punks on them, like the closet lovin' fools who called this review "gay"!

Summary: If you live too far from work to ride you should move closer and decrease urban sprawl and pollution. Do you like the green smog in the valley?
Recommended Route: This is gay.
